365 Days at Renderosity!!!!! Can you believe it???? For my one year anniversary I wanted to go back to my roots..... so to speak! This is the very first image I posted one year ago today...... I wanted everyone to see how far I've come!!! Thanks to everyone who has ever commented and all the help I've received over the last year! Superb composition including an almost ineffable congeries of chiasmus: peaked roof and foothill summits, stone building walls and a wall of mineral hills, bright bush and shadowed rolling background billows, milled lumber in attention-getting color and sparsely vegetated B&W terrain, stray colored board and another B&W "peak" in the debris in the left bottom foreground, and so on, all with subtly worked depth....

Love the selective coloring...a great image to commemorate your 1 year anniv. here at RR. Look like some giant stomped by and ripped the roof off the house, looking for tender morsels within! =]
