Description

Photograph / Photoshop 8 CS Sunrise in our backyard this morning. ( it's going to snow this evening :D ) o----------------------------------------o I gotta tell you, I'm glad I didn't delete my old PS 6. I couldn't make a 15k thumb with PS 8 to save my butt. I tried everything! That's why the thumb for 'Pastel Lake' is B&W. Ok, griping's over. sorry. I sincerely hope everyone has a great week, and Thanks for looking! Ken

This is wonderful Ken!! Love the post work! Have you tried the "Save for web" option? Then switch the type to jpeg, and mess with the quality slider? I only mention this, as I have recently learned it myself! ; )

I always use jpgs and I slid the slider all the way down to 1 and it was still too big. But I didn't try the "save for Web" option. I just tried it and it works great! Thanks a bunch! Now I might consider deleting PS 6 . . . . naaaa!

This is Beautiful... This is an excellent scene you've captured a wonderful sunrise and turned it into something even more spectacular with your use of filters. I love it when one can create a work that could be used to tell many different stories. Im sure when this one first opened on their screens many thought it was a picture of a wild fire or somethig. Excellent work of art. Oh! Its good to know Im not the only one with that thumbnail problem...lol

When I left for work this morning, I saw the sky on fire. And now, home from work, I see it will last forever. Wonderful dear.

Superb FX, but this is a little too close to the truth around here, with raging bushfires, very scary, and north of us there was a Cat 4 cyclone "Larry" yesterday and now "Wati" is on it's way...Mother nature mixing it up as usual ! Great work Ken...BRAVO ~Cheers~ :o)

Aw honey, I know how frustrating it can get at times. Atleast you didn't delete it or totally send it off into Never Never Land. I've done that several times before

This image brings chills to my spine. Like said above, this is close to the truth for quite a few people. Very powerful image. BTW, grab a free copy of EasyThumbs at their .com. The easiest way to make any size thumbnail. All about 15kb and crisp.
