Description


As I told you yesterday I stayed in Renesse (province of Zeeland) last weekend. Of course we had to go to one of the most beautiful cities over there, called Zierikzee. What you see here is one of the remains of the past in this tiny city..it is called the Zuiderhavenpoort. This means, translated freely, gateway of the Southern part of the harbour. Of course this gateway is an old one, built in the 14th Century and at that time one of the seven gateways the city had.
