Description

Still working on WWS3 (Wild West Set 3) "The Sheriff's Office. I'm trying to keep this set "Character" heavy. If it can have a posable bone structure it does have a posable bone structure. The coffee pots handle flips up and down and the lid is a smart prop. The stove has opening and closing vents, doors and the inner grill can be removed or repositioned and the lid on top can be lifted out or removed. The chimney is also a smart prop made in sections so it can be adjusted to however many pipe sections you want. The padlocks on the cells are seperated characters that can be put on anything and open and close. The cell doors open and close and the latch swings out. All of this is done with bonestructure rather tahn Morphs because the files are smaller and more of them can be included in the set. All the furniture (iron or wood) come with both a set of new and old textures. The ones shown here are the "Old Rusted" and "Aged Driftwood" ones. There are 3 sets of textures for the walls too, with both Brick and Wood Slat upper setions. Though I am personly fond of Richards "Badly Whitewashed" brick shown here, it has real personality. The bed just visible in the background is a Dynamic Object but 3 versons are stored in "assembled" format for P4 users (and those that don't want to wait for the cloth room). One is made semi-neat, one is in shambles with the blanket and pillow tossed ofer the foot of the bed and one is half made with the blanket falling off the top end onto the floor. All-in-all the set is about 75% finished at this point, and I am still taking suggestions for items to include. Rendered in p6 with one Point light and one ambient light. No post work.

Wonderful modeling work. I like figure sets, especially when you can conform parts to a base figure so that they automatically snap into place. Items to include: how about some "Wanted" posters? And maybe some logs as fuel for the stove. Cartridges and cartridge boxes? A suggestion about the chair: if you can rotate the UV mapping of the vertical supports the grain of the wood will flow better, without having to use another texture map. A magnificent piece of work again. Great set, looks like it's going to be both versatile and easy to use.

I like the textures, having workable mobile props that are authentic to the setting is great, I'd like a gun rack, I don't know how easy a rocking chair is to make but they are easier to pose figures in.
