I am a cowboy at heart, I have to admit it. I love spending time with my horse, and the more people I get to know, the more I like spending time with my horse.
Unless of course it's spending time creating images like this one.
BIOMy day job is as an art director for an advertising agency, and with some good fortune, I've actually met 3dExplorer on here. Shouts out!
More or less I have been working as an artist for more than 20 years, professionally. In my private life, I enjoy making music, performing live, and working with my horses (I now have two, Outlaw's Rolling Thunder - a Belgian Draft Tennessee Walker cross) and Jimmy Two Socks - a Tennessee Walker. I am training Thunder for the trails, and we're having a particularly good time discovering a lot about each other and bonding a great deal.
Living in central Illinois is somewhat limiting in my reach artistically, but thankfully I have come across forums like this and others which allow me to expand the reach of my work, and at the same time still enjoy the relative anonymity of living in the midwestern United States.

Nice bump/displacement effect! The only possible issue is the "ear" texture, maybe a little too low on resolution... but the overall result is fantastic!

Looks more like concrete to me. There is noticeable stretching at some points too. Most notably on the curved areas.

Three thumbs up! I think it has the distinctive look of a layered paint job... you know how old cars get layer upon layer of paint and putty and it just builds up over time. I do like this very much. :o) Let's see the finished texture job.
