Description

Photography made with my Nikon D70S and a Tamron lens 18-200 mm. No postwork, just framed with Photoshop 7 I continue with Spring colors.... Even if this one hasn't been taken in Spring, but in november when I was in Thailand. But Butterflies are as the flowers, and each one with his own colors is a wonder ! I would like to dedicate this one to a dear friend of Giancarlo and I, and a very special person : "Danob" Danny is THE Butterflies Man ;o)))))) And for all the Nature's Lovers here in RR. This cute Butty is a Cyrestis thyodamas of the family : Nymphalidae-Cyrestinae (I hope I've find the good one on Internet.... lol) I've find him along a river, in the forest near the village of Tapsai where I stay for 10 days. And in this place, there where Butterflies everywhere, all differents, and amazing ! The previous post in my gallery :
"God is every where - For Delmur..." If you want to see the Macro of Butterfly post in GIANCARLO'S gallery today, just click here :
"Farfalla 7" Have a wonderful week my friends, and thank you for your visit and kinds comments ! Nathalie, and always close to me, Giancarlo

Oh what a wonderful Butty It is also known as the Mapwing for it does look like a map this is indeed a sub species of Nymphalidae-Cyrestinae (Cyrestis thyodamas) probably collecting some moisture from the rocks. It is a very beautiful Butterfly Thanks dear for the dedication

Oh wow, what a ravishing butterfly, a stunning beauty fluttering on the foils given by God to visit one beautiful place after another, getting fed and reproducing the offspring! Gorgeous work, Nathalie, love to see it! It must have been thrilling to shoot butterflies like these! :)
