Having so much fire definately attracts attention to the black figure in the middle, I think its fine. A little more detail on the figure would help, he looks a bit washed out.

Well maybe light him up in front and the back will look a bit darker but not too much.

You've done a great job with this. I have a couple of suggestions. Heat causes an updraft. His cape should be billowing up behind him. The light could be coming up from the bottom. Also you might have the fire crashing against the rock the way ocean waves crash against rock. These are just some suggestion for an already great pic. Have fun.

Yes i think the sword is a bit much. Try lighting him up from below to give him that extra sinister look. Also when you look at a figure in a fire like that, the previously mentioned updrafts make things lok all hazy and for lack of a better word Wiggly? If you could achieve that kind of effect this could get on the most viewed list. Great piece. Chow
