Something about me? O Kay! I have recently moved to North Carolina from Oregon, and being recently retired,I find myself busier than ever. Photography is a whole new world for me and I am most grateful for your comments and time taken. Thank you.BIOWhere to start? First, let me say that I am a very young mother with very old children(4 sons), and my motto is "If it doesn't sparkle, don't buy it". I am either a 'new hippy' or a 'new gypsy',(the vote is still out on that). Let me say how much I am enjoying all of the wonderful exibitions of your talents. Thank you, May our gracious Creator, Jehovah, Bless each of you and your wonderful appreciation of His Creation.

Replica? Reconstruction or interpretation? Poured concrete? Built by NASA no doubt. (interesting pic, superb and smiling in the mist)

Our world copies what is the past all the time, cool image of this recreation, did not know it existed, must visit the real Stonehenge along with this one somedaym must have been an overcast day good detail and color:):)..V

This was a very dark, rainy and windy day. Colder than a welldiggers flashlight. Stonehenge replica is a tribute to the soldiers of WWI (I believe), and sets upon a hill overlooking the Columbia River. The location is where the East and West winds meet in the gorge.

This is probably what Stonehenge would look like if it were not partially in ruin and the builders had more modern technology. Neat image.

Awesome mood here. Just the right lighting. And I like the panorama size, it kind of adds to the image. Well done!

I agree with mandloks, great mood very celtic moor & kind of spooky. I've enjoyed all of the panorama sized photos you've posted.

I did read of sites here in the U.S. where they did build Stonehenge at about the same time the one in England was made; but they was made out of wood. all they have is the holes now. This is such a site to see. thanks for posting this

it looks as though stone-age Americans built better than stone-age Europeans - the original is rather broken down - lol
