Giancarlo has made so many shots of them during his life, and they illuminate my screen, and my heart.
Danny help for the name of this one too ;o)))) I'm trying to find his name on Internet since more than one hour now... grrrrrrr !!!

P E R F E C T capture of this butterfly! Love thet composition and use of DOF! This slide is a jewel! Too bad you can't find the name, I'm not so well in discovering them as well. But maybe you'll find a site explaining it all. Outstanding work! :)

In regards to yesterdays butterfly, I also could not find it and would welcome knowing the species name and family. As for this beautiful it comes from South and Central America. Family: Nymphalidae, Species: Eucides isabella and is a male. Common name is Isabella. Because it is a species found outside of your area, I am wondering if the shot was taken while he was on a trip or visiting a living butterfly museum as there are several throughout the world. As for the photograph, it is breath taken and as you said, they illuminate my screen, and my heart. They do the same for me and that is Giancarlos magic and legacy.
