Description

Trying out a light saber effect. Also, this is my first go at dynamic clothing. Thanks to Morphography for the quick dress and tutorials. Thanks for looking.

Congratulations, you produced a very realistic well textured cloth and the lighting effects are superb!A very profesional looking image, it shows you pay a lot of attention to detail.

Thank you for your kind words farm :) Looking at the pic now I can see that the gown/coat doesn't need it's bottom clasp. Although the simulation is correct, it just doesn't look right to me anymore. Hindsight, eh ?

Hindsight is always 20/20, the clasp looks fine to me. The lighting is great and the dynamic gown/coat looks great (where did you get it by the way?). That said, I think the pose could use a bit of work, it looks a little unnatural, like she's more of an action figure than a person. Other than that it's a great pic.

chimera46, thank you. I made the dynamic gown/coat using the quick dress and tuts from Morphograpy. The pose was a compromise between balance of the figure in action, and trying to get a dynamic feel to the gown/coat. I'll get there in the end :)
