Description
So...I've fallen on the bandwagon of Harry Potter fanart...I blame my sister, jlneveloff... Anyway, I'm sort of on a HP kick...currently obsessing with the 'Goblet' movie and wanting to see the 'Order of the Phoenix' movie (even though that won't be released until probably winter 2007), especially since it has been confirmed that Gary Oldman is indeed returning to reprise his role as Sirius. :)
Anyway, I spent about a week on this...probably the longest I've worked on one image... it's still not perfect... I'm not a fan of his eyebrows...or the background... Anyway...

A nicely made portrait, which is technically great, but kind of misguided in its nature, because the actor who plays Harry looks kind of wimpy and geeky. Please do not start explaining to me that "it is the way he suppose to look like!" I do not want to critisize the whole Potterism, simply because people deserve to entertain themselves in any harmless way that they choose. I just feel that this artist has alot of talent and could definitely apply such talent to the depiction of some other, more respectable and attractive personas.

Personally I like this persona and think HP is very respectable as wizards go...a wonderful and skillfully created portrait of a more mature Harry.

Amazing! I love Harry Potter! It's too bad you can't delete comments, eh? I think Harry's personality traits make him more likeable. If he were more like Malfoy, then he wouldn't be as charming.
