Description

Photographing supernatural persons can be sometimes very rewarding despite the great dangers that come with the job. Doctor van Helsing, the most famous vampire hunter of the modern day, claims that vampires have no soul, that they are just "empty shells". This photograph provides startling contradictory evidence. But before I continue, let me elaborate on the lucky events that ultimately led to my acquiring of this proof: I had told Molly that I had forgotten my French letters in the carriage. I asked her to kindly wait while I get them, and told her I would pay her threefold for her trouble. She agreed on the condition that I hand her my umbrella, to which I agreed and left. Soon after, I heard a faint scream behind me. Finally, after dozens of attempts, my plan had worked perfectly! Due to the extreme difficulty of catching a vampire on film and escaping without notice, I did not dare to approach this male vampire from any other direction than behind. It was almost pitch black, only one flickering gas lamp lit the wet, narrow street corner in which he was crouching, feasting on the bait. This was my chance, as vampires are the least alert when they are eating, their senses blurred from the unholy, savage extacy of drinking Christian blood. I made sure that my escape route was clear and my horse ready, and set up my equipment... Ten hours later I woke up to the sound of Bow Bells, covertly leaving my safe haven. I headed to my laboratory and begun working feverishly on the instant I arrived there. The end result you see above. Now, let me continue with my remarks on the picture. As you can see, it portrays the back of his head, covered with dark, long hair. This part of the image, despite the subject, is no value to us. I must here ask you to move your gaze below his head, on his back. What do you see? Yes, through some unexplainable and unfathomable coincidence, my equipment did not only record his long jacket, but his very soul, in the form of a luminous demonic head, gazing straight at the lenses! --------------------------------------- Thanks for your interest, make sure you remember to donate 1p to our young, attractive cashier as you step out, we're collecting for the advancement of citizen safety!
