Description

This little tree is called a Loblolly Pine (Pinus taeda) It can grow up to 100 feet tall and up to three feet in diameter, although in coastal areas they seldom rise more than 50 feet. The loblolly's yellow-green needles can grow to nine inches in length and usually grow in bunches of three. It's cones can grow to nine inches in length, with each of the cone's scales having a very sharp tip. Thanks for looking, have a wonderful day!
