Description

Native Americans lived in harmony with nature. They believed that all came from the One and that all was connected and to be respected. They believed the lynx was the keeper of secrets of lost knowledge, and that this beautiful creature held the vision of the unseen. This is the first in a nature series that pays tribute To the many exquisite wild creatures We saw during a recent trip to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. Created in Photoshop CS From a photo reference and background by romanceworks. Hope you enjoy. Comments most welcome and appreciated. Cavalaris & HEART

This is just amazing artwork..the lynx look so realistic and if you look in their eyes you can see why The Native American believed the way they did. As a nature lover myself I'm really looking forward to this series.

WOW. Really cool image.Stunning work. I did not know this about Linx. Thanks for sharing this info. Actually it is very interesting to me what the Native Americans thought. I have seen a lynx. It was a black lynx which I saw at our farm in NH. It was an amazing creature. Stared straight at me with green eyes boring into me and did not move. Did not even seem afraid of me. It had such a powerful presence that I was truly startled and in awe of this animal. Scared the CP out of our housecats . lol. He didnt move. Just sat there watching me come closer ( I was trying to get into the farmhouse ). I will never forget it. An animal with a powerful energy. My understanding is that they dont often appear to people like this. He must have been there for some reason, trying to tell me something ? Excellent and fascinating work Carol. It sure got me going and remembering. Looking forward to more on this series. I tend to have strange encounters with wild animals so this will be a great source of Information !!! SUPERB WORK !!!!

This makes me think of a scenario. The apocalypse happens and thousands of years from now, giant, feral house cats, revert to a more predatory nature of old. Very nicely done.
