Description

Oh the places you'll go ..... "You're off to great places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting. So...get on your way!" (Excerpt from "Oh, the Places You'll Go" by Dr.Seuss) ~~~~ I've always wanted to visit Egypt, don't know why but I have and still do and someday.... :) Terrain, surfacing, atmosphere and 'eye' of Ra are mine. (the eye is sketched, ghosted and added to new layer) The pyramid is a macro I got from the World Machine forums created by X-Pax and I did add two of them to create this, took a while to figure out where and how and what but it worked. I've wanted to create a 'pyramid' for ages and I have to thank those at the WM forums for all their advice and hints. My deepest thanks to you all for your comments on my last upload: In the ruins. You surely do encourage someone to do better each time :) Enjoy this respite in Egypt... As always, Pat

Love the worm's eye pov on this, and being so close to the ground that's great surfacing detail. Also love the complimentary colours. Can only just make out your eye of Ra, but that's probably due to the limitations of my ageing monitor.

On this I really enjoyed scrolling from the bottom up...slowly. It was like a 3d trip across the desert and coming upon these majestic pyramids towering over me!!! Amazing effect Pat and I love..love..love your eye of Ra which appears to be carved ages ago into the pyramid wall! Bravo...Excellent!!! :-))) V
