Description


Been looking at the 'World Machine' program & can import 16-bit heightmaps that look lovely in Vue. This is the default terrain with a couple of tweaks. Terragen gallery is full of WM terrains & what FANTASTIC renders over there at present.

Yes, WM is almost certainly the best landscape generator out there at the moment.

dburdick, I used the TGA 16-bit format in World Machine, ignore the povray prefix. I presume it is 16-bit as listed because there are no artifacts apparent as in 8-bit TGA's.
