Description

Back in the Stone Age when I was 3-7 years old, nothing gave me greater joy than a new box of crayons and a coloring book. I think that's when my love of art began. Models created in Wings3d. Some textures are scanned, the coloring book textures were made in Photoshop Elements. Textures applied and render done in Bryce5. Thanks for looking, John

Nice work, I remember those days as well, even through to being a little older and wanting to draw for 2000 AD or similar, shame I'm rubbish at drawing :)

Can't believe this isn't a photo, your texturing and modeling is just flat out superb! Those crayons look good enough to eat. And I am totally with you, I remember being so happy to get a new box of crayons. Great work John!

Awesome, ;-) A specially memorable occasion, once my mother brought home crayons and the end of a roll of newsprint from the local newspaper, 6x100 feet! I recall, I was overwhelmed to color it all! So, you captured it! Let's "color up" a page.

This is a highly professional image you have here. Very near photo quality. I must say, you were never any slouch but it seems like you continue to get better and better.
