First try at painting hair on Poser model using Paint Shop Pro.

Well, actually I saw people with hair like that. On the other hand I saw people who try to paint hair for more than a year and still can't get it right. So I'd say it's a good start. :) PSP is a nice tool for it's price, but sadly it's not as supported as the in no way better Adobe PS.

Not bad at all. I too think you did well for a first time! Looks good in fact. I've seen a many heads of hair that looked that way - its convincing.
