Description
It was late. I was keeping company with my "buddy in a bottle", when she walked in. Face like an angel, gams that could reach to heaven, I offered her some cheap scotch, which she drank hungrily then asked for more. She was in a bad way, in big trouble. She was afraid of something or someone, she needed my help. I could only hope ,this sorry sack of stuffing I'd become, was up to the job...
