Description
Taken on a Canon Powershot A95 (photoshopped to try to reduce at least some of the grain in the shot - and frame added some cropping obviously).
Having seen some amazing drop shots i thought i would give it a go.
This is in homage to the master of the art Zacko:
Double Impact
The only thing i would change is the light intensity - i just couldnt get enough light for the scene (i had two desk lamps powered onto the scene as well as the kitchen lights!!) I will give it another go in the future sometime
=)
Enjoy!

Such incredible water game capture, unluckily in a bit unsharp and the reflex in it is not so visible!!! Great idea!!! :)

oh yeah - and i would change that too: i would get the focus exactly right... which was rather difficult to start with =S

very good for a " kick off " ... keep try and will happen a way you like it!

Awww! Thanks for those flattering words. I must say that youre off to a great start. And you know...most of my shots are taken using the built in flash. So then you dont need any additional lightsources. I notice that youre using a sauce pan of some kind...probably metal. If you want to reduce the chance of getting your highlights blown using the flash, then try using a black plastic bucket or something that doesnt reflect the light as much. Keep on trying and have fun. #:O)

can see what you are technically trying to achieve. and the result.. its truly merited.. if the clarity is,nt quite there...water is like glass so you need a softer light source.. other wise it visually shouts back.. to many speculars, flash is a way to harsh source of light and would create the light to fragment in the above reason...flash is a basically daylight.. and best used outside as a fill.. not to shape.. soft light is a diffused light because it lowers the reflections which will dominate the whole image..desk top lamps are not disffused more harsh... hope this helps... but excellent .. as l said truly technically merited and brillaint for a first attempt...:)

This drop looks very good to me. I think it is a strong shot!
