....and they have a plan by ZOT Created: 26_27-March-2006 Created with: - Poser 6 (CHR posing, scene creation, etc.) - Vue 5 Esprit (lighting and rendering - (no postwork on render)) - Photoshop (just for border effect and credits) ======================== About: ------ I downloaded the quite spiffy "TV Sci-Fi Robot" via Renderosity the other day and decided to have a quick playaround with it in Poser 6. I ended up setting up a scene but frustratingly wasn't getting anywhere with the lighting which was all important. So I put the scene into Vue 5 Esprit, killed all lighting, and made up what I wanted to suit the scene and my idea. In case you don't know it, the 'robot' is a Cylon Centurion from the new (2003) series of Battlestar Galactica. - I've long since bought the first season on DVD and I'm still waiting for the second season to be shown in this backwater part of the world, but it's not like I don't know anything about the 1st season at least. ;-) The title of this image ("....and they have a plan") is from the series and it suits my image of 3 Cylons......two are Centurions but one is a humanoid Cylon. I made the Centurion Cylons chrome-like just because I can. :-) -- Besides, it makes the image look nice and you could consider them 'honour guard' Cylons or something. - It's my bit of an homage to the original chrome Cylons. The render has no postwork and is straight out of Vue5 Esprit.
