Description

Ok...I know the winter colors are so totally blah ...but I kind of liked how the light came from the snow on the lake on this one. Also...that little figure in the center is actually 6' 3" tall!! Noooo..it's not Me! LOL Thank you so much for welcoming me back... you are such a great bunch! Also, thank you for your kind comments and advice too! I hope you enjoy this little experiment I did with perspective and that you all have a fantastic week! :-) (((Hugs))) ~ maggie

Winter is one of the hardest images to capture beautifully and you've done it here Mags, the 'lonely' feeling of the snow the shadows and light, all perfection. I love snow, of course not for six months but do love it as it gives one a sense of self... you alone in this vast winterscape... outstanding...

the figure gives it much perspective & feeling of how small in such a large world.. the eyes following his steps ;] well done maggie!

This has a wonderful atmosphere,Maggie. He looks almost lost...as if facing unsurmountable odds and a bleak uncertain future...I think it's very poetic!Welcome back, honey.Always lovely to see your work.-M :^)

I love the contrast of the striped foreground, the stark white lake surface, and the ominous clouds. It draws my eye thru this beautiful scene. Lovely work, Maggie!

I agree with Margana and Photosmith. This is really an awsome piece of work. You have a great eye for this type of photography my dear daughter. This picture looks like it should go with some kind of winter poem. Have a great weekend Maggie....also a big V for this pic..
