Description

I know I said the last picture of ths bridge was the final in the series... however like a dog with a bone I couldn't let it go. So after purchasing some more plug-ins for Carrara I decided to revisit this scene to see how much more realsim I could get. There is much more work gone into the trees. Some more types of plants. Mist rising off the water and ivy growing on the bridge. In fact nearly everything was altered in some way from the previous image "Morning Light" Plug-ins used: * Inagoni Veloute and Primivol * DCG ShadersPlus, AnythingGrows, AnythingGrooves and ShaderOps * ShoestringShaders Fresnel

Looks really good. I would like to see you put some color in the translucency channel of the leaves. You've taken this image to a much higher level from the first try. I like to see people keep pushing instead of just settling for okay.

What a gorgeous scene, I have to agree with misrelate that there is definitely magic in the air here. You have captured the serenity of nature in all its glory. I love the way the light and shadows dance in and out over the nocks and cranny. How the soft mist is rising off of the water. The cool green colors help to put a hint of chilliness in to the air. This pic has a very soft feel to it, and I think the moss cover round rocks, and stones help to bring that out; there are no hard edges anywhere. Excellent work!

Patrick 210 and dlk30341 * There is translucency added to the leaves of the trees (which is why some of the leaves are a quite bright green as they are back-lit) however I do not have light through transparency turned on as it creates unrealistic colored shadows and allows too much light through the translucency.
