Description

I think this is the most difficult panoramic photos I have ever taken. Each shot that went into this stitched panorama was hand held, with an exposure of about 3 or 4 seconds, in a busy observation gallery! I tried 4 shots at each one, and was lucky to get exactly 1 useable image in each direction.

OH MY GOD!!! Handheld??? AT NIGHT!!! OH MY GOD!!!! Wow, that sure is amazing. And its sooooooo beautiful as well. You should be might proud of this pano, its absolutely perfect. I do however suggest you cropp it so that the seems and the vignette dont show. Have a great day. #:O)

Thanks All! :-) If anyone is wondering what is where, the oval in the centre is a ferris wheel in the Place de la Concorde, and the bright line going left from it is the Champs Elysees. The view is roughy north east from the tower. Zacko - maybe I should try rebuilding this, using my newer stitching software. And you can handhold for this kind of exposure if you jam the camera against something solid, hold your breath, (and accept a high failure rate!)

Yes truly lovely work. I would crop like Zacko said. Amazing work for handheld at night. So gorgeous.:)

Your effort defently paid off...I love it! Instead of crop it I would just correct it.

excellent picture as everyone has said. to me it looks the the aftermath of an explosion in a big city in a movie. The lights are the flames burning out and everything else is ash. Except the boats on the water and the building on the righthand side of the picture. Fantastic picture
