Description
When I failed to download a free model of the Trade Federation Battle Droid I descided to model it myself. I tried to do it in Wings but failed because I'm still not familiar with it. So there was no other way than to do it in Bryce with primitives. That's the result of some hours of modeling, it's not really finished, e.g. there are no textures yet but I wanted to share it, ratings and comments are very welcome ;-)

although it looks pretty basic, and with some experience with wings3d it could look better, I still take my hat off to you because I know the painful task of placing all those primitives and booleans and all that grouping and making the center point thing and linking! Keep it up!

Excellent work! I gues You could easily now use this droid in mass background scenes without any problems.

Thanks for all your comments, @Pancho1985 Hopefully I will be able to use Wings better in the future - @Bungalo: i don't think that mass scenes will be possible, the model is too complex my computer wouldn't survive more than 20 droids ;-)

I agree with Pancho you coudl make a better mor eefficiant versionin Wings3D. I am terrible at robots so I woudl nto be the one to ask about that. I woudl be better at the beasts that they fight.
