I've been posting here for nearly five years now and this is the 900th image in my gallery - well, I've posted more but deleted a couple of dozen or so over time, so this is 900! I haven't really been artistically active of late (I've been working on music instead) but I'd decided for a while to do a simple self portrait photomontage thing, so I took a quick shot earlier this evening. The background texture is a shot from our local bushland.
I wanted this to be a straightforward here-and-now thing. I was stuck for a title so I just worked out the number of days I've been around in this life (at least at the time of posting this) and used that!

This is such a beautiful selfportrait Jim! I especially love your expression and the colorscale, and of course your great textures. Congrats to the 900.
