My Dearest Jessica,
Dare I approach? Dare I speak? Dare I break the spell that lies upon me, holding me back, paralyzed at the sight of you. For so long I have watched you from afar with trembling eye, dared to bask in thy beauty, blinded by the luminosity of thy moonlit soul, so perfect, so flawless, ...so ripe for the hand of death.
I have seen the mark of His footprints in your shadow, the touch of His hand on your pale cheek and know He has a jealous eye. Ah, but I shall have you instead, if you will but grant me the first kiss. Do I dare? Do I commit the blasphemy of begging the emerald eyed goddess for the touch of her lips, the taste of her throat. Or do I play the Plutonian game and snatch you up and away with you whilst you stand waiting your descent into Hades. Would Pluto laugh, or rage, do you think, denied His intended bride? Would you forgive me, eventually bending your will to mine and make me your eternal slave? Would you bare your throat for me? Would you?

Your prose suits and sets the mood perfectly. I know what you mean about the characters taking hold of and controlling you to their will. Beautifully done!
