Description

After leaving the shore it takes a while crossing the Waddenzee (little waves, not really worrying) but eventually we see land! We are approaching Terschelling, the island becomes better and better visible. If my uncle not lost his hat in the wind (my cousin turned the boat but we couldn't find the hat back - too bad, uncle Arie!) we would have been there earlier, but ok, we enjoy this time with each other very much and it's no problem at all. Lower clouds has dissolved here, but the fluffy clouds up there tell me there's cold (stable) air high up there. You can see the (squared) lighthouse called 'Brandaris' well from this distance. Land ho! Always a happy sight for sailors. You'll have to get Uncle Arie a new cover for his birthday, but its a small price to pay for such beauty.

Whatever you did on the island it did not change the sea. Without the boat you could not be postioned here. Hands and their labor are essential to the purpose of completion.

Land Ho! This would be a welcome site for me after being on a boat for a bit...in fact depending on how I felt, I would probably opt to swim in! Splendid view! Aloha!
