*whew* Ok, now that I got everything out of my system with the previous image & accompanying mini-rant, here's something I've been debating what to do with for quite some time. I've been hoping to find the perfect background for this, but my searches have been fruitless. So, I finally decided that it was probably nice enough to post on its own. I've kind of grown fond of it being in the plain black darkness. So, this has got a bit of my experimentation with displacement maps for the chainmail armor. It's a 2nd skin texture for Aiko, with a bump map created by me (and the texture modified to have a bare midriff). It seems like Aiko is my target for all of my displacement experiments, eh? And look! There's no big boobs in this one at all! (a complete coincidence). Thanks for looking and for your comments!

Who needs backgrounds? I think if the figure is good enough, they can stand on thier own, no pun intended... hehe, sorry :P

Awsome man! Love the blue lighting and it's play across the figure. I agree that the darkness lends to the glow of the figure. You could just throw a stone floor under her and say she's in a cavern or something if there were a need to have more in the pic. But I think she holds her own as is! Great pic!

Aside from thre bared breasts, this would make a fine costume for my daughter. Stray thought-- if she's in the dark, what's casting that shadow on her legs and cape?

The breasts are not bared. That's part of the breastplate, and it's attached to the shoulders. As for the shadows, it's magic!
