Description

Well, you were wondering... There she is, the 'Lady Isabella.' I think I am correct in claiming, the largest functioning water wheel in the world. She was built in Victorian times and was used to pump water from the Laxey mines. Restored in recent years to working order.

This is absolutely fantastic. You have offered us a real visual prize. Love the color and the lighting. With the person at the top and the steps, we can see how huge and elegant this grand old girl really is. Thank you and hope that your day is a great one. HUGS!!!!!!!

Lady Isabella is a fine example of engineering finesse for her era! The design is stunning and your images show off the craftmanship well []/;^)
