Dear Amanda, It's Sunday morning and I've finally got some time to stop by and see what eveyone has been working on - it's been a hectic week!! I just noticed that this picture is from March!! I hope things are well with you and that you just haven't been posting much. I wish you would do some more because this is really pretty. I love the soft pastels in the sky and in the reflections on the water - super nice job!! And I like the implied story that while this old man o'war may be enjoying calm seas at the moment, rough weather and rough fighting lie ahead and that it will soon again be "crossing the T" and firing broadsides. It's a pretty good metaphor for the way I feel right now - I'm sitting here in my tacky robe and bunny slippers, sipping hot chocolate and doing something a really enjoy. And tomorrow, I'll be back at work and again in the "broadsides" business!! (By the way - anyone that makes any cracks about "broad" sides is gonna be in trouble!! GUYS!!!)
