Description

A shot from this mornings shoot. I had to climb down a small cliff to get on level with the ocean to get this shot. Not the easiest task while hauling a big tripod, but no mishaps, one slip and it's pretty much the obituaries. But I've seen many more dangerous shots than this posted on this site, and it's all in spirit of adventure~ Have a great day everyone, and thanks so much for all the positive feedback on my last post, it gives my soul energy! Aloha!

Honey, one of these days I'm gonna have to swat you for taking so many risks! I'm getting gray just realizing what you did to get most of these shots. But it sure is pretty, isn't it?!!!! OK, now I'll go ahead and admitt it.... I've taken risks before too. Just so I could get that right shot. Are we all fools? It seems our passion knows no bounds. Beautiful photo, my dear. you know I'd just give you a playful tap {{VOTE}}

:o/ Honestly....what can one say about a photo like this without sounding like a total airhead? I mean, there arent enough superlatives to describe how freaking amazing this shot is. Ive seen so many photos with slow shutterspeed applied to them, like waterfalls and fountains. But youre unique with your shore-shots. These are so brilliant Dave. I truly hope you realise just how amazing this shot is. CLAPCLAPCLAPCLAPCLAPCLAPCLAPCLAPCLAPCLAP!!! Have yourself a merry weekend. #:O)

Wow! And I mean WOW! I've never seen this done with the surf! How VERY impressive. As for the rock climbing, as much hassle as it is, take along a back pack and at least 50 feet of rope. We all know we aren't going to miss the shot just cause it's dangerous. Lori even has me carrying a pair of branch snippers now!!! You know, a bit of gardening at the waterfalls to spruce up the shot - at least you don't have that at the shore!!! Wonderful work, my friend, just gorgeous! V

I'm still trying to figure out the click & drag to get a freeze on the background wave & surf with a time exposure on the crashing wave over the rocks. Awesome capture Dave!!

Speaking of danger, the first thing I thought of when I saw this was to wonder if you got the camera wet. Now that would be a tragedy. :-) Well done, Dave, I love the angel hair spray.
