Description

"I held a jewel.." I held a jewel in my fingers And went to sleep The day was warm, and winds were prosy I said, "Twill keep" I woke - and chide my honest fingers, The Gem was gone And now, an Amethyst remembrance Is all I own Emily Dickinson (183086) This image is a result of a challenge with my good friend o0ii. She provided this wonderful poem by Emily Dickinson and I provided an image (a leafless tree), neither of us knew what we getting until we both had them on our hardrives. We both had to make a piece of work that reflected the poem and used the tree image. I gotta say many thanks to o0ii for coming up with this challenge, not only did I find it fun and inspiring but it also forced me to make this piece within 2 weeks. I've never been partial to poetry but this challenge has indeed opened my eyes to that whole genre. The more and more I read the poem the more meaning/ideas I took from it. To see o0ii's take on the poem/image please check out her georgous gallery, you'll won't be disapointed :) http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/browse.php?user_id=33910 Many thanks for viewing, hope you enjoy!
