I love your photography, your rambles, and your dog. This is one of my all time favorites that you have posted. Seeing the individual ice crystals is absolutely breath taking. You get tired of snow, and at times I get tired of our Oregon rain, but I wish I could have some of your snow (until I had to drive in it).

Well, your original instinct served you well. It IS an excellent photo! I love seeing the individual segments of the crystal formations on the branch, and that ever-so-blue sky is most excellent as a contrasting bg colour (bg = background). Splendid work Andreas!
