In the ancient Civilization of Woodtopia, Emperor Gladius Woody was to take as his bride the lovely Alexa Communus. Alas, on the even of the wedding, the Emperor's half-brother Madius Darkwood kidnapped Alexa and held her prisoner, whilst replacing her with a Stand-in, Girlexa, who had been trained to take her place next to the unsuspecting Emperor. Girlexa was to slip a deadly potion into the Emperor's wine at the Yearly Poserendium Forum. Madius would then take power as Emperor. But... a Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Girlexa fell in love with Gladius Woody, and threw away the deadly poison. Madius, for his part, was captivated by the fiery spirit of the beautiful Alexa, and she in turn fell madly in love with him. They ran off together to a distant land and founded a new civilization called Alexantis. Emperor Woody never learned of the deception, and he and Girlexa lived happily ever after. ;) This was a contest entry - I didn't have Alexa so I did my best to morph Girl into a resemblance.
