Description
The Cavorite Sphere from the film 'First Men in the Moon'. Modelled in Max 7,rendered in Vue Infinite, post work in Photoshop.I wanted the image of the Sphere on the moon to have the same feel as the film so for the background I used a few grabs of the moon surface from the DVD and stitched them together in Photoshop and had a mess around with the brightness etc...

I like. It reminds me of the Cover for "From the Earth to The Moon" that tom hanks produced back in the 90's on HBO. Of course there was no Cavorite Sphere, but they did mention the Film "First Men in the Moon" during one episode.
