Venedig #10 by Ikarius

Yesterday I decided to continue my series of Venice 2005. I have still some shots I would like to post. I think this one is a highlight and as often as I can I show it friends, who still believe diapositives are antiquated and there is no chance to digitalize them satisfactorily. The frame is selfmade, though I have seen the idea of the red part anywhere else. Sorry, that I'm not able to name the source. I will try to keep this frame for the continued series. Well, actually this is not Venice, but Burano, the very nice little island in the east. Asahi Pentax Spotmatic (1964), Super-Takumar 1:1,4/50mm. Kodak diapositive ISO 200. Scanned with Canon CanoScan 8400F. Kindest regards, Ikarius.

A beautiful shot! I like the imaginative use of the deep blue sky. It forces one's attention on the lighter building, and good too the human touch on the extreme edge.
