Description
This is an HDR outdoor lighting experiment, rendered in Vue 5 Infinite with GI, using Linda's wonderful lush vegetation.
You can notice that the tree leaves are quite "patchy", although I rendered at very high quality levels, both in the atmosphere tab, AA tab, and overall advanced effects quality in the render tab.
Has anyone seen this before?
Anyway, thanks for your visit and comments.

Belle mise en lumie ! La distribution de la vation est tr rliste.

the lighting and vegetation are very convincing....put some more work into the greyish part of the groundtexture and everything is fine....still an excellent pic !

J'aime beaucoup le ciel et la lumie. Excellent travail. Bravo!

This is very good IMHO. I'm not sure that I really see the problem with the leaves. Is it that the GI skydome effect shows the flatness of the square, bitmapped Vue "leaf objects"? If so, my only suggestion would be to add a soft bump to reduce it. Excellent work as it is, the lighting is spot on.

I don't see what you are talking about either. It looks fine to me :)

Love it! It looks fantastic, Bruno! The optical problem with the leaves is caused by the one-sidedness of them against the light and you get that with any SG plant in a distance. 2 possible fixes: 1. turn off 1-sided in the mat editor and light the tree, 2. slightly blur or soften the offending leaves in a picture editing program. Beautiful job!!!

Yeah, as often the problem is much more present for the creators than the innocent viewers like me. I see an excellent image with indeed excellent vegetation. VERY well done!
