Description

The details of the sandscapes intrigue me. Incredible to see how those layers are formed and remain in dynamic existence. Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 70 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

awesome capture and detail, I love how they created the thin overhangs, and you say this is sand but it looks so much like snow, to cool...=]

super looking...you can post some of the sand patterns in the chall of the month. They look like fractuls in nature.

NICE! Excellent photography and amazing natural sand sculpting. It's amazing how the effects of wind on sand can create such stunningly beautiful works! Have an awesome day Jan!

This reminds me of the terraced rice paddies of Asia. Nice work, Jan-Carel.

They intrigue me too Jan-Carel! They are almost hypnotizing to stare at the zillions of tiny grains. I love to do that though...and to sift the sand through my fingers and let it form a new little mound. I want to play in this sand! hehehe Excellent capture...beautiful! V
