Description

Here is the 2nd in the series of Cindi's portraits. Yesterday I mentioned that I didn't really know what was in store for me. I hadn't even heard the CD, yet! She is a very approachable person and it shows in her photos, too. The title of the CD is going to be "Come a Little Closer". I thought that the change of clothes and this posture (on a different chair) communicated that a little better. Thanks for the wonderful comments on yesterday's upload, Cindi Your comments are so helpful and very much appreciated!! Jodie :0)

Both pix are lovely.I love the colors and pose of yesterday's,but I think she looks even prettier in this one. Also, her clothes,to me,seem more like a 'musician' in this one.(A bit more modern, less 'comfy/cosy',if you know what I mean.)Both are really great Jodie, and you should be very proud of yourself.

A very nice shot for a CD cover and she has such a warm smile. Lovely work!

Another pro shot. I think you're ready to start a new business -- and perhaps Cindy could land a job in modeling (if either of you so desired). Excellent work all around.

Great portrait. For an album cover, though, I think I'd have tried to narrow the DOF, eliminating the sharp foreground images and focusing strictly on the face. The chair, wristwatch etc. are distracting. (This same effect could of course also be achieved with some very minor postwork.)

Denger ~ Perhaps a vignette of some type around the face bringing more attention to it? Thanks Carl...love the ideas and keep 'em coming!

Both photos turned out really fabulous. I agree with you about this photo. I think this one would be better for the CD too. She's really gorgeous!

I agree, the pose on this is definitely more in line with her character as described by you. Maybe I'd also go for a closer crop on the face and arms, the best part of the portrait.

OK, off the wall time! I think this is a very good portrait - how about keeping the focus on her face and 'fading out to a line drawing' of her torso and the chair, thus - enforcing the 'Come a Liitle Closer' by drawing you into the Lady herself? (sorry if that all sounds a bit daft - trying day at work!)

In the end, selling the CD is the intent. With that in mind, I personally think that you have nailed it with this image. This photo makes her seem so open, so approachable, charming, and likeable. It all comes thru, don't change a thing!

Gorgeous setup, smile and portrait ! Not sure about the position of her left shoulder and the shadow it throws on her neck ! Fantastic overall lighting and details ! Excellent work !!!
