This is not a helpful hint for improving your successful design but I thought ...I think this direction you've taken reminds of the artist Gustav Klimt (deceased and famous; the Kiss is very popular) I encourage you to look him up.

I have to agree with Roxanne: this does associate, in the detail-(.."..all those little targets..")- with Klimt's detail work in "The Kiss", but stands also quite alone in uniqueness of form and color: Dynamic!!
