WOW!! The only people for me are the mad ones, the ones who are mad to live, mad to talk, mad to be saved, desirous of everything at the same time, the ones who never yawn or say a commonplace thing, but burn, burn, burn, like fabulous yellow roman candles exploding like spiders across the stars and in the middle you see the blue centerlight pop and everybody goes "Awww! I really love that shot..And i love spider and i use to grow them with some snakes too :) It is a wonderful closeup my friend.. Love the colours and the semi-dreamy effects in it.. Love the shadows, lighting and the single leg action (Movement) Capture as well.... But since it is a Nikon D70 and every one know how good the sensor is and the way it proccess the images.. I can see about 5% grain in that pic.. "Noise" it could be the ISO setting with the light tho if you uses a flash.. It is really not a big deal.. Becasue mybe it is my eyes.. hehe or my calibrated monitor shows it all.. other then that.. it is a real super shot.. and i love it.. And here is a big VOTE for you and your SPIDER!! Excellent!!

I painted an apartment where no one lives for a long time and there was an assortment of critters. after painting the ceiling, I was doing the walls. the ceiling had hardly dried and there was a spider no more than 3/16" that was building a new web. excellent macro of this critter of yours
