Description

Still heading downhill, lets pretend it is sunny and bright :-) We shall "hit" the beach today!! Tide is way out Geert, so no worries. Just imagine a wild November night with the sea lashing up againt the ancient stones of the old sea wall! Crash, crash, huge splish splash...... :-)Have a fun Friday everyone. Thank you so much for looking and for treasured comments. Diane

Wow, what a fantastic building! I bet it's got at least 7 stories going there. 4 stories with windows, probably a wine cellar, and, and... 2 stories of dungeons? LOL, Just kidding. Excellent POV, composition, and capture Di! That concrete ledge looks like the kind of place I could spend many hours sitting, staring out toward the sea, contemplating the ways of this world (and no doubt many others, both microscopic and macroscopic). Have a stunningly beautiful weekend my friend!

It was quite a sunny day here, but we have terrible tornados and thunderstorms just north of us right now so it is quite calming to spend a moment here thinking on a low tide and a peaceful day along the shore. If the weather moves south tonight, I might rather be in such a nice strong house as this one in your bay. Very much enjoying our stroll. :-)

That looks like an unusual and dangerous place to build a house! Crash crash, splish splash? I've slept on the beach of the Atlantic in open air, I loved it! Beautiful capture and a pleasant healthy walk... See you Diane!

I like the sea when it slams into rocks! I often go on the pier in Viareggio when the sea is rough and the waves jump! Beautiful buildings with a feeling of great strength, capable of withstanding the fury of the sea!Happy week, dear Diane
