wow..there's all sorts of buzz with ship classes..the original take on the NX-01 (that's even a problem in itself, as NX later becomes a designation for 'experimental' ships; I'd call the thing the Enterprise class..but that's me..;) I see elements of the Akira, Sovereign, the 'unknown' class( shows up fighting off Klingons in one episode..actually didn't have a name)..I'm impressed with modeling in Bryce..very good detail, must be some serious booleans going on here..great work, keep it up..

Excellent work. The asteroid belt would have made me crazy after placing the first couple of dozen. The modelling on the ship is superb.

Awesome work, the ring of that planet must have taken forever to create, the ship design is also very cool.

I like the winglet idea on the Nacelles.

Thanx guys! The ship was designed by a friend on SFM. There are 3414 boolean objects just for the ship. The asteroid belt totalled off with 17600 rocks. I started off with a 'sheet' of 1600 rocks then made about a dozen renders with it at different rotations. Must have taken an hour or two to composite it all together.

very nice...one small thing, aren't the impulse engines supposed to glow red?

Thanx! Usually is red... however I chose blue because of the era that its set in. The NX-01 Enterprise had blue impulse engines.
