Description
If the winter has delivered a normal amount of moisture, the high desert floor will be covered with red clover and lupine in the springtime - a beautiful sight to see.
The 4097 WM terrain called 'Southwest Mesas' by Buzzzzz (thank you Jay!) was rendered at 6000 x 4500 with post work done in Photoshop. A portion of a photo taken by Gary Ladd was integrated into the image at the lower right. The moon was also created by Jay (thanks again my friend).

The absolute pinnacle of TG realism and skill. When a postworked terrain or object cannot be distinguished from the rendered terrain, that's one thing; here, the actual photo object has to be good enough not to look "fake" amongst the rendered world- because of it's sheer perfection on detail, color, subtle lighting, etc. Yes, Bob, this is a true masterpiece!

Surfaces fit this Terrain to a tee! Atmo/Light of early morning is my favorite time of day and you have re-created it beautifully! Well worth the time you put into this excellent scene Bob! Goes to my Favs and deserves a "click" for sure! Huzzzzzah!!!

For realism, this has to be very close to your best. What sets this one apart from the others is the "patch/break" on the desert floor. When you are on a bluff high above, you can see every break or old trail on the desert floor. This is a excellent rendition of reality. Into my WIHD folder. V This is my new desktop. :O)
