Description

A Riverboat that was a jazz club and is now a resturant, at sunset. The shot was done in response to a co-worker who said the E-300 couldn't take a good picture in low light (they were complaining that there was too much noise... they have since changed their opinion). Photoshop used to resize the images and add my signature, no other postwork done. Shot with an Olympus E-300, using the 50mm Macro lens (makes a great portrait lens too), at f 2.0. ISO was 800 and the shutter speed was 1/100. Comments and crits welcome as always. Thanks for viewing.

This is one beautifully captured old riverboat. Love the lighting on the water and the reflections.

Good to see the E300 put to good use. I have one of those, too.

You may find the "noise" may creep in with a longer exposure (like 20-30 seconds or more). Good show though.
