Description

G'day. This is an uncurling leaf of a Birds Nest Fern thats growing in my garden. Birds Nest ferns usually grow in the canopy of trees in temperate and tropical rainforests in Australia!! Ive seen them in the trees in Queensland. I dont know if they grow esle where in the world?? They can be up to 2 to 3m across in size!! We have them for sale at most nurseries and theyre pretty easy to grow in a shady moist part of the garden. Anyway i have a thing for natures curves!! Enjoy Lou

Great image, I'd expected to see an image exactly like this in the March Challenge Arena challenge - I would have taken one myself if I had enough talent :)

Wonderful capture of these special ferns! Never seen them in the wild, I guess they're typical Australian! Gorgeous work!
