this is one of three WWII bombers that tour the US all year long and are owned by the Collings Foundation. they are on display at Frontiers of Flight Museum Dallas Texas. I do not make posts this large except I wanted you to be able to read the history of this actual plane. thanks for viewing and comments

What a lovely plane and such a proud history behind it. Thank you for the information. I would like to go back to Texas, just to see the rest of that museum. I love anything military. There is a superb museum in Bovington in Hampshire UK, I have visited twice, but that is mainly to exhibit armoured vehicles and heavy tanks. Great capture Richard. Steve :o)

This capture is very impressive I am scared to death of heights so I know I would be in a plane if I ever got on one I have never flew anywhere:( would have to have a few Valium in me and a couple of shots before and on the plane once I got brave enough to get in one...*grin This is excellent and thanks for sharing the info too Vote n hugs Susan~
