Description

The modeling part is as goos as done on this, although I may be adding some more detail to those speakers. The scene also still needs a bunch of cables (to connect the electronics), as soon as that's done I'll get started on the textures. In the mean while, here's my WIP...

@Ace; gonna make sure you hear from me when it's finished, it's a promise, may take some time though since my texture skills need (lots of) development... @Gambit; plans for the bot yes, many as a matter of fact... Only time can tell (and decide) where it takes me... Thanks guys

Robot and vinyl records. Stunning contradictions. Yet, beautiful music together? Can't wait to see this finished! T.P.

Neat image - quite creative & it will be interesting to see how it develops. Great job on your WIP!

Nice, nice. I would however have opted to give him "wurlitzer" arms if u know what i mean. Arms specifically designed for holding records.

U mean "wurlitzer" as in the system jukeboxes use? That's not a bad idea, I 'll look into that... Maybe I'll also replace those spheres on the chest with extra arms for using the mixing table... Thanks

This really turned out great, can't wait to see it textured. I love the idea about the extra arms too.

I dunno about the rest of you guys, but has anyone noticed the implied expression on the robot? Looks like he's going "ooo"... or whistling perhaps? Too cool. Excellent WIP work.

Love the idea. And yup, I vote for changing the arm/hand-design. Those spiky "fingers" looks like they can seriously damage a vinyl-record! And a pair of extra arms would be neat, every DJ's wet dream to have 4 arms :D
