Me, in St Petersburg Russia, a couple of years ago.BIOI studied astronomy at University, and it is still a passion of mine. I am also a keen photographer, mainly panoramic work these days.
I enjoy travel and have been to many interesting places, and I am interested in languages, and speak some russian, ans well as the usual school stuff. The day job is fault tolerant capacity planning, but graphics is more fun!

I don't know anything about lightwave, but I like this. Cool scene!

Looking great. It seems a bit washed out, it could be my monitor ?! Keep it up...

Judging by the rest of your gallery, I'll take back statement about the legit copy of lightwave... but...

Wonderful...

CdGGambit - Please justify that accusation, or remove the 'but'. I do NOT taken kindly to veiled accusations of sotware piracy, not least because I work in the industry. You are of course at liberty o pass what details you have of me on to Newtek, along with your suspicions.

Very nicely done! The color of the water and the lighting here make this a very inviting looking place... except there's suspiciously no one around. My only niggle would be the scale of the ripples in your lake... a bit smaller perhaps? Only a suggestion... :o)

This is well done,I take in what Moe says, but this a lake not a sea. The only thing I can see is that it all seems so clean, needs dirtying up a little

Thanks for the comments. This is basicly a still from a music video I am working on. It is deliberately desserted, as in the next scene there will be an oriental dragon approaching and weaving between the buildings. The final part is when the dragon appoaches a distictly weird female figure who smiles aprovingly before it flies off... The clean look of the buildins was basically a design decision - as you might have gathered, I'm not going for realisim in this. Several people have suggested smaller ripples, I'm begining to think I must be wrong on this!

Awesome render... Nice scenery and light... Yes, maybe a little to clean...

Hey Wow! It's looking great! I can't believe I missed this one when you first posted it. Been insanely busy, but I'm glad I ran accross it tonight! The water may not be perfect, but it looks good and water is one of the toughest elements to work with. As for me, I think the scale of the ripples is right on track with a peaceful day. Wouldn't hurt to be smaller, but I think they're fine. How it animates will matter more on that part. Keep up the good work! :-)

Excellent...
